Johari Noelle releases ‘Your Way’, a new song

Chicago-based singer Johari Noelle released her new song “Your Way” today. Teaming up with producer ReezyTunez (D Smoke, Tamar Braxton), Noelle shines over electronic R&B instrumentals as she lyrically details that she’s playing a boy. “I could have broken your heart, that’s just a fact,” she sings in the chorus, before issuing a warning. “Stay out of your feelings when it’s your way.”

Noelle said in a statement: “In writing ‘Your Way,’ it was to encourage good girls or good guys to tap into their inner villain. Don’t be afraid to be the bad guy. Don’t be afraid to take revenge on the person who hurt you, revenge can also be healing. Let’s change the narrative a bit.”

Noelle’s new single serves as a follow-up release to her 2021 EP forever gray. It has also been teased as the start of his next project. pastwhich will include further collaborations with Jared “ReezyTunez” Thorne and writer Rachel Chelvin.

Next month, Noelle will also take the stage at Chicago’s The Promontory to perform “Your Way” live for the first time, as well as her previous popular releases. The show will mark her first concert since the pandemic, making it even more special for fans. Sponsored by Shure Audio and DMG Presents, the event includes other supporting performances from Emery Kelly, Lei Dominque, Matt Muse and Pierce Lanvin.
